Challenge
We were approached by a major European carrier to supply a wide range of onboard consumables and ship to their supply hubs situated in 5 different locations worldwide.
The airline was facing increasing unit costs from their existing suppliers and difficulties with shipments being delayed due to incomplete customs documentation, incorrect routing and various other issues.
Solution
Through our in-house production and direct from factory supply chain we were able to provide significant unit cost saving, including sustainable alternatives as well as shorter production lead-times.
As a result of continued investment in our systems and partnerships with our freight partners we were also able to significantly reduce delivery times by customs clearing goods in advance of shipments leaving the UK enabling us to deliver on DDP Incoterms to all their EU bases.
